Lindsey Taylor Ranz was born June 19, 1992
She is remembered as a person with a big heart and a way of making everyone feel special and important. She often put others before herself.
It was the way she lived all of her 21 years.
After graduating from high school, she attended Charleston Southern and then transferred to the College of Charleston.
In addition to attending her classes, she was a model and a recent finalist in Charleston Modeling Week, where she was featured on the cover of brochures and in magazine ads. She enjoyed fitness, jogging, and did ROTC in high school. Lindsey was a talented artist who enjoyed sculpting, drawing, playing the guitar and creating paintings which have been displayed and sold.
She loved people and loved to help others. Lindsey was an animal lover and advocate. One of her favorite charitable sites was sevenly.org. She volunteered, donated to, and gave time to the Leukemia Foundation, the Alzheimer's Foundation and the ASPC. She participated in a mission trip to Belize shortly before her passing.
She always worked hard and had a passion to succeed in everything she did.
She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside.
Lindsey Taylor Ranz died on January 13, 2014 when she was struck by a vehicle while jogging into the crosswalk at Septima P. Clark and Comings Ave (The Crosstown), taking her life.
While her body is gone, her voice and spirit will live on.
Lindsey Taylor Ranz will be forever missed and always remembered.
